Reviewing RIMMEL Glam’Eyes Day 2 Night Mascara

We all are in love with the Disney cartoon characters. They always bring a sense of nostalgia of our childhood in us. I used to absolutely love the way they differentiate between a male and female character appearances . Take for example, Mickey and Mini Mouse. Unlike Mickey, Mini of course wore a frock, heels and had long., prominent & dramatic eye lashes that she keeps on blinking and fluttering!! Very impressive!!

So can we practically have those long, thick, black eye lashes?? Personally, I have small eyes with not very artistic eye lashes and hence, I invariably use mascara in my everyday makeup routine for office. My makeup is so very incomplete without it. For the past two years I have been using RIMMEL Glam’Eyes Day 2 Night Mascara. It was a gift from my friend from London. But I got so used to it that every time she comes here I ask her (yes, I literally command her!!,, poor she, snobbish me!! ) for a stock replenishment (Rimmel doesn’t sell in India except for few online sites).

About the Product: 2 in 1 defined length/ intense volume mascara. The top cap is for exceptionally defined & ultra- lengthened lashes and the bottom cap thickens lashes with voluptuousness. The company also claims the result to be with no clumps.

My Verdict: Absolutely no suspense remained. I am in awe with this mascara. It does give a volume and lengthy finish to my lashes. They look thick and long. Also the mascara doesn’t form a lump on your lashes. But I have noticed off late that if applied to your lower lashes, the mascara does flake out after a few hours. Let me guarantee that this one is also very long lasting and stays on my upper lashes for 12 hours without any flaking. It’s not waterproof though. So in case I get drenched in rain with the mascara on, I look like a spooky sad joker. Quite literally!
