Review and Swatch of Inglot Freedom System Rainbow Eye shadow 102 R
13/12/2013 17:23TFIF!!! Why is not every day Friday??!! Weekends seem to be an oasis for all those corporate slaves out there. They seem to be the rarest thing to find and seems like a mirage during weekdays. Rare but refreshing!
Sometimes I feel a neutral eye shadow for my skin tone is an equally rare thing. A light shade is too light and looks chalky on me. Most browns are too dark and doesn’t light the eyes anyway.
So, does that mean I wear golds and bronzes to work?? Are you kidding me? Of course not. I mostly wear Inglot Freedom System Rainbow Eye shadow 102 R to work.
Company Claims: “Will provide the coverage of matte. Each eye shadow colour boasts three shades in one, which can be blended together or applied separately giving you a limitless variety of colour options.”
Price: IN R 450/ 2.5 gm
Shelf Life: 3 years
My Verdict: I am a huge fan of Inglot’s eye shadows. Quality and quantity- they do total justice to the money you pay. Inglot’s Freedom Rainbow series is one of their “another” remarkable ideas, where three shadows from the same color family are clubbed in a single refill.
102 R is a matte shadow that is from the family of brown with peachy undertone. The matte and the browns make it a daily day wearable item. The peachy undertone is what that makes it wearable for the girls on the duskier side as a daily neutral staple.
The top most is the lightest terracotta color with peachy hues. I use it on the whole of eye lid.
The second ones is browner version which I generally use in the crease as the crease color.
The third and the last is the darkest and resembles reddish brick. That one I use at the outer corner.
All the shades are highly pigmented and gives full coverage to the lids. The longevity is also very good and sustains for almost for 8-9 hours on my lids with an eye primer and 6-7 hours, without the primer. Texture is smooth, matte and blend-able.
Pros:
- 3 shadows in one refill
- Extremely pocket friendly
- Super Quality-Smooth, perfect matte finish, blends well, pigmented and long lasting
Cons:
At this price, nil.
Overall Verdict: Go….Grab one!! It’s totally worth it!!
