If you like glitters then I am sure you would like Inglot AMC Eye Shadow Pigments depending on your choice of colors.  I used this for my sister’s wedding makeup to get the long lasting shine and the extra oomph!.

I had bought this couple of months back when I was at the Inglot store. I picked up 2 shades- one a golden pink and the other one a pure golden, keeping the bridal make up in mind. I feel girls who love dramatic look would fall for this product than the one who are interested in subtle ones. Also I wouldn’t wear this during the day. It would definitely darn my eye lids during the night. I plan to wear these during the upcoming Christmas Party.

Company Claims: “Sponge gourd oil and almost 90% pure pigment gives this highly concentrated loose colored powder the ability to range from subtle to ultra-intense effects depending on application. Pigments can be mixed with DURALINE to create liquid forms of all pigment colors”.

My Verdict:

Shade 55 is beautiful rose gold shade and Shade 50 is a subtle and pretty pink shade with gold undertones. I had used shade 50 on sister for the wedding makeup and can be see here.

The texture is flaky and granular in the jar but once applied, it blends on the skin with a smooth finish. The Blending is a task, as the shadow tends to fall out and one needs to hold a paper piece or something, in order to protect the fallout on the face. If the fallout happens it turns into a tedious job to get it cleared and is possible with only with a make-up remover. Simply wiping out will just spoils the game further.

The color payoff is very richly pigmented and intense. A very little quantity is required for any look. Make sure you dab the extra product back into the jar in order to protect from the fallout.

The eye shadow is very long lasting and lasts for good 8-9 hours. It can be both used as dry and wet shadows. When used as a wet shadow, you may not require a base shadow and this alone is enough to darn the eyelids. I generally use it as final touch to get the extra dramatic look. This is also good for attaining a great metallic look.

The packaging is convenient and travel friendly. The eye shadow comes in a small, transparent plastic jar with a black lid. Be careful while opening it as the shadow may bump out.

Price: INR 700/ 2gm

Pros:

  1. Highly pigmented
  2. Rich Color payoff
  3. Very little amount required
  4. Doesn’t crease
  5. Long lasting
  6. Beautiful metallic finish
  7. Paraben Free
  8. Can be used both as dry and wet shadow
  9. Convenient packaging
  10. The total quantity in the jar would last a life time
  11. Not tested on animals

Cons:

  1. Heavy Fallout
  2. Needs an eye primer or cream base if used as a dry shadow

Over all Recommendation: Inglot AMC Eye shadow pigments have a wide variety of colors and can be picked up for a metallic look in that color range. They are highly pigmented, smooth and blend-able. This may not be a staple part of your make up but if you are looking out for long lasting evening dramatic look, you may choose one of these for that added oomph!!
