Review and FOTD with Purple Eye Shadow Inglot Eye Shadow Refill 71

With Pantone declaring “Radiant Orchid” as the color of the year 2014, I thought of posting this FOTD and the related review of Inglot Eye Shadow Refill 71 . The shade is of course not Radiant Orchid, which actually is more reddish Purple, Inglot 71 is more a blue-ish Purple. But as both have hues of purple, this is a good time to talk about this pretty eye shadow.

My Verdict:

Inglot Eye Shadow Refill 71 is a beautiful shimmery purple shade. The shimmers are very fine and silver in appearance. The eye shadow is awesomely pigmented. When I am in need of a purple shadow for an evening outing, I always turn to this one. It doesn’t make me look washed out. An extremely cool toned purple is enough to serve the disaster for me. But this ONE is so correct. Inglot 71 and a touch of MAC Carbon is enough to achieve a Smokey purple look.

The lasting power is excellent and stays on my oily lids for almost 10 hours. Though I prefer using it over an eye primer.

I wore this sometime last week to the mall.
