Review of MAC Sheer tone Blush Pinch Me

Ouchhh!! That’s how I felt when I was introduced to this blush by one of the SAs at MAC store in Phoenix Market City, Kurla. Pinch me!!! Is that really me with that natural looking flush on my face and yes I don’t look like a clown when I have the blush on!
MAC Pinch me Blush is a sheer tone powder blush and is part of their permanent range.

Shelf Life: 3 years
My Verdict: MAC Pinch me is a dusty rose color shade. It’s neither pink nor too peachy or coral. In the pan the blush looks unattractive and unappealing terracotta. On the skin it’s a nice and warm rose. I feel it’s a perfect color for dusky/tan skin tone. A gorgeous underrated shade for dusky damsels. It’s sheer in nature as per the claim and needs to be layered to show up. Still for an officially sheer toned I feel it’s well pigmented. The powder blends like a dream to look like a natural flush of color. Pinch me is matte in texture and doesn’t have a hint of shimmer. Just like the way I want my blush to be. It’s a great day time blush and can be worn to work without a bit of hesitation. The stay time is 5-6 hours post which it would fade beautifully. On a sunny day it would be lesser and touch up would probably be inevitable.
The packaging is the standard MAC blush ones, which I feel should be revamped. With this price it needs to look a more desirable. The no mirror feature is not appealing. Still container is travel friendly and you would need a powder blush along.

Recommendation: MAC Pinch me is a must have shade for warmer skin tone. Its dusty rose color that turns into a sheered natural looking rosy flush. One can never go wrong with this. It never goes over the top. Would require bit of layering to show up. I feel it might look a bit muddy on fairer girls. The lasting power is also good and can be a perfect day as well as night wear.
