We all have our set views and opinions. A lot of times we get too adamant about them and prefer sticking to them and on top of that ignoring the best ones meant for us. It’s no surprise to me that I am also one of those creatures who get carried away by ones own beliefs. I had never believed in the concept of toning and always felt it was one useless thing.

Off late I thought of giving it a try. Probably because I realized my skin is not the same that it once used to be. I am 28 years old and I guess the 30’s fever is already catching up on me. Though I admit I have never lied about my age, so far.

So, I finally decided to follow the CTM routine religiously and purchased the Fab India Tea Tree Toner.

Key Ingredients: Purified Water, Propylene Glycol, Phenoxyethanol, Polysorbate 20, Imid Ureo, Tea Tree oil,

Salicylic Acid, Neem Extract, Turmeric Extract.

Price: INR 135 for 100 ml

Company Claims: An alcohol free skin toner with tea tree oil that control sebum and clears blemishes.

Variants: Yes there are other variants also available that you can try like the Lavender Skin Toner and the Neem & Tulsi Skin Toner, which in my opinion is for oily and acne prone skins respectively. Personally, I chose the tea toner because of its fragrance. Honestly, I had never tried any other toner apart from the one from Ayur that resulted to outburst of one or two pimples which I absolutely hate. Because any time I have got them is either strategically on my forehead like a headlight or on under my lower lip. Such an ewwwww & yaaaaak moment!!

My verdict: The moment I sprayed it on my wipe I fell in love with its fragrance which is like milder version of the “nilgiri”. Within a week of strict skin regime, I have noticed a change in my skin tone which has become more even and uniform. Also I didn’t breakout post the application.

Pros:

  1. Non alcoholic
  2. Seems effective and feels good post application
  3. Love the fragrance
  4. Very convenient nozzle spray packaging
  5. No animal testing

Cons: Can’t think of anything particularly

Will I repurchase: Yes
